This is a beauty! 3 1/2" long, by 2" wide (at widest points). 1 1/2" tall.
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.

All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.

There is nice detailing in this mould, which adds to the shadows on the hair, giving a realistic effect to the coloration.
Black defines the eyes and nose. Black shading around the mouth adds emphasis to an open mouth that has a pink tongue.
A warm and friendly look of contentment exudes from this face.
