This lovely and graceful 5-1/4'' tall "Heart Optic" Vase in Ruby, covered with hearts, in beautiful French Opalescent, is rich in color.

Showing a technique that is among the most challenging for the glass artist (Optics);Ruby Opalescent is made with special ingredients in the glass batch.
During the production process, the molten glass must be briefly chilled and then reheated in order to create the opalescent effect.
Truly a triumph of the glassmaker's skill!.

The width (of the piece we have left) is 4" (on the rim) and 3 3/4" across (at the widest point on the 'bowl') of the vase.
