Mermaids are aquatic creatures with the head and torso of a beautiful young woman and the lower body of a fish. She can be found in seas and lakes. Ancient myth has it that, Mermaids are sometimes known to predict the future and are often accompanied by seals.
The belief in mermaids or similar creatures can be found across the globe. The primary myth of mermaids and mermen, the male equivalent of mermaids, can be traced back to Greek and Babylonian mythology. The Greeks shared tales of Sirens and Tritons, while the Babylonians had beliefs in fish gods, who were half fish and half human.
Courtney measures 6" tall, by 4 3/8" wide (side to side), and 3 1/2" wide (front to back).

Courtney has "sandy" light brown hair, beautifully highlighted. Her eyes are hazel.
Her tail is shaded with cantalope and peach tones. Her top has folds of soft sea foam green.
She holds one large pearl in her right hand, while sitting atop a rock pedestal which is also occupied by a miniature lighthouse.
The glittering waves (softly, shaded with lavender, blue, and turquoise) are washing up on and around the rock pedestal.
