The identifying signature on the bottom of the paperweight is hand written in cursive script; it reads "Glass Eye Studio 2001".
This pure Crystal glass, includes, "Dichroic Glass".

It is an outstanding example of "Dichroic"!!
Dichroic glass adds the 'sparkle' to the glass. Dichroic glass is a special marriage of reflected and transmitted light, which results in a mystical rainbow of color, offering a different visual delight with each new glance, AND light source. You can observe golds, silver, blues, greens, oranges, pinks, and purples among the "Dichroic" elements of this beautiful "Fountain" paperweight, object 'd art.
You will even see some geometric patterns in the "Dichroic" elements.
Bubbles, inside the weight add an illusion of movement.
It measures 4 15/16" tall, by 3 1/2" at the widest point.
