This Paperweight titled, "Petrified Rock", is a "RETIRED" design from the studio.
The piece has 'GES 01' etched on the bottom of the paperweight (one of the familiar signature and markings for collector identification purposes).

"Petrified Rock" is a swirl of soft earthy colors, including mauve, aqua, yellow ocher, sandstone, and a reddish "metallic" looking purple.
There is a depth achieved by the glass artist in this piece, that gives the illusion of looking deep within the earth.
