Green and black "Spiral Crescent" Bowl with dichroic .
You will see various green tones from deep emerald, lime (more yellowish) to a rich 'grass' green. Fine 'Gold specks' are scattered between the greens. This is the "dichroic" element of the piece.
"Dichroic glass" is a special marriage of reflected and transmitted light, with the result; a mystical 'rainbow of color', offering a different visual delight with each new glance, AND different light sources.
The black 'stripes' (shown in the picture) are actually four (4) continuous bands encased in the heavy glass, starting on the bottom of the bowl; spiraling around the bowl up to the rim.
The bowl measures 5 1/8" diameter (at widest point) outside of bowl. The diameter of the opening is 2 7/8". It is 2 1/4" tall.
A beautiful small bowl to display. Yet even MORE enjoyment for a collector to use on the table top, serving a special treat to your guests.
Location: Flr 102 (Glass eye case).
