'Frog - Mouth Open' is
NOW, RETIRED by the Hagen-Renaker Ceramic Artists in San Dimas California!
Measuring 1" tall, 1 13/16" wide (side to side; at widest points), and 1 9/16" long (front to back; from the tip of the nose to back end).
A natural coloration of greens, browns, and yellows, is softly blended and air brushed for a very pleasant look.
The belly is a light bright green. The throat is bright yellow.
Detailing for the eyes is done in yellow ochre with black pupils.
The open mouth appears to be smiling, and is detailed with a tongue, accented with a soft salmon color.
Nice sculpturing of textures in the mould gives a natural look for the back of this frog.

All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependentas to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.
