VINTAGE Mama Mouse!
"Mama Mouse" is
VERY SMALL, measuring only 1" tall, 3/4" wide (at widest points, across ears and hips), and 11/16" deep (front to back).
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.

Mama mouse is a medium, to light grey color.
The detailing for the eyes gives a sweet expression.
The nose is defined with black, AND look closely to see the two white teeth in her mouth! Has she been using tooth whitening!?!?
Very endearing! The ears have a soft pink inside the ears for a beautiful accent. There is a 'pin' mark in the right ear, showing the grey color through the pink accent...tiny little flaw, not uncommon with hand made Ceramic items.
Place with "Papa Mouse" (hr00358), and the 'children', "Little Brother Mouse" (hr00296), "Baby New Mouse" (hr0009) and "Baby Mouse" (hr00180).
