Hagen-Renaker's Puffin is
BEAUTIFULLY DETAILED!
This Puffin miniature measures ONLY1 1/2" tall, 1 3/8" front to back (from tail to beak), by 1" (across from wing to wing, across breast).
This miniature is very detailed with the beak tri-colored, orange, black, and mustard yellow. The beak even has an additional firing of the iridescent lustre over-glaze, to give it that special effect found on this creature in nature.
The bird is detailed appropriately with black and white, and mustard yellow feet.
As well, the eyes are defined with black.
This is a Vintage piece, that WAS RETIRED! NICE DETAILING, with a lustre 'overglaze' on beak!Pictured is the ACTUAL ITEM you will receive.
This Puffin HAS BEEN, reintroduced into the line, now!
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.
