'Leap Frog' measures 3" wide (from toe to toe, looking straight at him), 1 1/2"tall, and 1 3/8" deep (front to back).

This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.

All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.

This 'Leap Frog' is adorable displayed alone, OR for a precious statement try a multiple number of them...Lined up, "LEAPING" each other.
The color is mottled green on the back and feet. While lighter and brighter shades of green on the chest and belly gives a freshness. Yellow accents the throat area.
The mouth is open with the tongue (in a muted ochre color) appearing to be laughing as the play takes over the joy of the moment!
The eyes are two-toned yellow (ocher) with black dots.

Take a close look!...Perfectly balanced, "leap frog" stands on the front two feet only!!!
