As with many handmade glasses, Fenton's "Favrene" Art Glass is not a recent invention. It is Fenton's unique version of two early glasses - Tiffany's Favrile and Steuben's Blue Aurene. The name "Favrene" was chosen to illustrate its roots in these two beautiful glasses.
